Could be dangerous. I've seen this product recommended in a running book so decided to give it a try. After first careful use the bottom of my feet are burning and my metatarsals are extremely tender. Now my left Achilles tendon area has a slight rip constantly and is somewhat numb. I didn't go crazy on this and was very careful. This product is not for everyone.
Be Careful!!. I used this product and wound up with tarsal tunnel syndrome.....in other words, It damaged my ankle. Now I have foot and ankle pain.
Very good product. I have used this and found it is helping me stretch my feet as well as my calf muscles. I cannot prove this but I think it'll ultimately help my hamstring.
Medi-Dyne ProStretch. This product provides a deep calf stretch - a deeper stretch then I can get from a stretching on a stair or likewise. I had developed some fairly painful knots in my calf while running. I am a casual runner - 20 - 25 miles per week. I had originally used this device at my gym, and sprang for the $30 to have one at home. I have very tight calf muscles, and this little piece of plastic does the trick! It positions the foot in such a way, as to provide a great stretch.
Gives A Good Stretch. I have very tight hamstrings and heel cords. It's difficult for me to do a proper hamstring stretch without this little device. It allows me to stand up straight and still get a good stretch in both my hamstrings and my heel cords.
